As a food professional, I know historically one thing that must happen in a successful restaurant is that the food must all come and be served to the table at 1 time. The reason this almost never happens at Pho Quynh is that 1 person is cooking, finishing and plating your food one plate at a time. If this is the new standard then I love the results. Dig in, share and know that your food is not being prepared by a 16 year old but an accomplished Chef of Vietnamese cuisine.A 100 item menu would be a joke in almost any other setting, this family pulls it off. Pho is a breakfast food in Vietnam, protein, broth, vegetables and herbs could do us all some good. We have not found a single item to avoid on the menu. BTW Pho Quynh was burglarized and robbed this past Memorial Day, we went as a group and paid cash the day before which was taken by the thieves along with all other cash in the building following a 3 day weekend. When I approached the owner with $100 as a token gift I was refused and offered a free beverage, Incredible people. Note: to make your very serious server laugh out loud- pronounce one of the 100 menu items in English-Vietnamese.

Eww. I used to go to Pho Quynh once or twice a week, but the quality of the food went progressively down hill, so I decided to give it a break for a few months. I thought I’d give them another chance and ordered the appetizer seafood soup for two. My first thought was why is there no seafood? I dug around a bit and found 1 mussel, 1 fish ball, 2 shrimp, 4 scallops, and a couple bits of mock crab. In my digging, I also found a rotting pea pod. Don’t waste your time or your money.

First Pho Experience. This was my first time having Pho and I was very happy with Pho Quynh. Portions were considerably large, one order could easily serve 2 people. Loved the fresh veggies to add to the broth!I order the spring rolls, and I was disappointed -not my personal favorite – mostly due to the texture.Would definitely go back!

Good, but Lam’s is leagues beyond Pho Quynh. I’ll admit, I liked Pho Quynh when I first tried it, but compared to Lam’s Vietnamese on Rice St., it’s severely lacking. It’s not the worst Vietnamese I’ve ever had, but if you want FANTASTIC Vietnamese, go to Lam’s!

I keep going back!. I love this place! Forget the decor-the food is awesome! I love the #12 soup, #70 entree, and #68 entree. Fresh vegetables and the spicy tofu rocks!

I love all the vegetarian meals!. Portions are huge, veggies are fresh! Ambience is not there and server has his friends hanging out so that is not appealing but if you look past that you will have some great food here!#69 was the only one that I didn’t like because it was in a sauce.
