Pita Pit is a national chain of fast-food style restaurants that serve custom Pita sandwiches. You pick your typenof pita, type of meat ir meat combinations ranging from gyro to Philly Steak to various chicken flavors or vegitarian. Then pile on your toppings as basic as onions, lettuce or tomatoes, or more exotic like roasted pepper hummus, banana peppers, feta cheese, etc. There are tons of choices and combinations! That doesn’t even count the myriad of sauces you can finish it off with. Sandwiches are fresh and tasty. Meat portions are pretty small relative to the sandwich however. If you want to experience the meat thru your entire sandwich I suggest the double-meat option. Not bad for a fast-food sandwich alternative, and more heathy seeming than many other places. Warning: Evil Coke Freestyle machine in use

Great addition to Sioux Falls!! A wonderful healthy alternative to the norm! AND they have the Cole Freestyle machine!!! Huge in my book!! 🙂
My go to fast food place.. I love the food here. I have found everything to be fantastic. I come here pretty regularly for lunch. it’s nice to have a non-greasy alternative.
Overall, I like it!. This restaurant is similar to Subway in that we go through a line and can choose what we want on our pitas. I’m in Weight Watchers, and it works out well for me IF I pay attention and make sure that the person assembling my pita follows my instructions. The gals behind the counter are really good about this, but the guys are sloppy about it and dump too much mayo, etc. on. Pretty good value for the money, too.
