2015 visit…yikes. So we drove to Sioux Falls for this on a saturday night @ 730. Called to make sure they were open. Got there and cars idling in parking lot, drunk man outside the front door, a room full of random children watching tv to the side while daddies get drunk in the small dining room. Hoping for a sober cook, We took a seat and waited for 5 to 10 minutes, nobody acknowledged us, so we left. First time was so good, this time so scary.19 Jun, 2013Like being invited into someone’s home. On one hand, it’s not somewhere I’d go on a first date, it’s kind of a dive. The dining room is off of the owner’s house. But the owner (who is also the cook) welcomed us into his small dining room like we were family. Very attentive. Food: Tibs were very well seasoned. Everything on the combination plate was pretty tasty too, especially the doro wat. Not usually a fan of veggies, but even the collard greens were pretty good. Will definitely go back.
