Tokyo does a great job with service, their Sushi and Japanese cuisine. While we understand that dragon rolls, tiger rolls and the like are very untraditional, we still enjoy the imaginative display and combination of flavors. Edamame, Miso soup, dashi salad are all spot on. All 3 Tokyo’s in Sioux Falls are slightly different but each one has good service and follow through on their service and offerings.
It was OK. The food was all right, but a little high priced to be really worth it. Not bad, but not great.
The food here is nowhere near good enough to make up for service that is subpar at best. I visited recently wanting to dine in, but there were no available booths. I had no problem waiting, but was severely displeased when, after waiting patiently, another customer was seated at a booth, despite my still waiting. The service here is ridiculous and I will not be returning.
Great lunch!. Stopped in on the 3rd. Excellent service and food cooked in front of us. Kids loved it. Great leftovers! Very fresh. Would love to go back.
A nice lunch. Was visiting from New Orleans which has great sushi places. Enjoyed my lunch. I had a california roll as well as shrimp/eel box sushi. Both were good. Service was excellent. Clarification of what was in each roll on the menu would have been beneficial. Change can be difficult. Certainly prefer my sushi places back in New Orleans but would return.
East side. Wife and I love the Hibatchi experience at the east side location and make it a once a month special dining experience. The food is always flavorful, entertaining chef pleasant, and the portions are always more than we can eat. We get a to-go box to enjoy the extras for lunch the next day. Wait staff is friendly, polite, and prompt,
I didn’t try much but…. I ordered the inari and they were terrible. Soggy bean curd with a tiny spoon full of rice.
