Love how you can sample all the different soups! They are so fresh. The pumpkin bisque was a nice fall touch. Also, the wraps were high quality. However, it’s strange that they only hand out punch cards during the summer months…
This place is great! I am on a budget and i’m here all the time. I always get either a side of soup (Ahh-mazing soups & comes with bread!) or a half salad. Their salads are probably the best value in town. For less than $5, the half salad is more than enough to fill you up. The cobb is my favorite! I love the sampling station and the employees are always smiling and helpful. I only wish they had more parking during winter.
Soup Lover. I thought this place was great! I eat soup frequently winter or summer. I thought the soup I tasted was delicious. I had the lobster bisque, which is one of my favorites and nothing I make at home. It was tasty and had a great flavor. I also had the asparagus, dill, and shrimp soup. I also thought this was a tasty combination. I plan on trying more soups in the weeks to come. I highly suggest that you try this restaurant.
Too expensive and not very good. It’s soup. It’s not a gourmet meal at a fine restaurant. We (a family of 3) ate there and our bill for 3 people was almost 30 bucks. That is not cheap. We can spend that money at an actual restaurant and get a real full meal.I like the concept, because sometimes soup just sounds like a great mealtime eat, but they are too expensive and the quality is not where it should be for a place that specializes in soup.
I have now eaten here twice, not really impressed, the wheat roll tasted like an ashtray, and the soup? I got the lobster bisque, not something I would make at home, it was overly chunky and spicy, not at all what a bisque should be.
My new favorite!. Zoup! has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Sioux Falls. I am on the track to lose weight by counting calories and this is one of very VERY few restaurants in town where I can feel 100% full for a minimal number of calories. I always check their site before I go so I can look at nutrition info to make a good decision. They have so many great soups, and they rotate daily. They allow you to sample their different soups, and I have yet to sample one I don’t like.Personal recommendations:Italian WeddingMexican ChickenMacaroni and Cheese (NOT a low cal option, however an 8 oz portion is only 370 calories)Spicy Crab & RiceLemon Caper Tuna half sandwich.Fiance recommends:Lobster bisque (he gets it every time.)TL;DR: LOVE Zoup!
