I came at lunch and had a wonderful meal. I had flaxseed crackers, mock chicken salad and cheesecake 😉 I shared with my sister bc the portions are generous and filling. All employees were very friendly. Service was fast. I read to expect 15 mins on their website it was prob half that. Loved it. Will be back!
I am a physician. This restaurant is exactly what I needed. Healthy food that taste good! The prices are more than reasonable! The food is very tasty; not only that, I know that it’s good for my health. It was recommended to me by another physician who also loves it. She has it delivered, due to time constraints in her schedule. I plan to do the same. I recently attended a 3 week detox vegan spa & educational institution. The only food made available was raw salads for every meal!! There was no diversity or creativity in the menu. Here at two vegan sistas, the menu choices are fantastic! Thanks to them, I feel committed to continue with my vegan diet (if not totally; partially). I encourage my patients to eat healthy too, and stop looking for the magic pill to cure their ailments. I encourage them to actively participate in their medical care by doing their part to boost their immune system with healthy foods and exercise. We don’t have many restaurants in our community, like two sistas, available to those of us who are not looking for the next fast food restaurant. Best wishes to you TWO VEGAN SISTAS!!!!!
Delightful Vegan Place that’s not pushy. Many vegan places stand in condemnation of those who choose to eat meat. Not so with this place. I had a delightful time there waiting for my delicious cashew burger. I talked with one of the employees about fresh food and even meat fresh from the slaughterhouse. She didn’t have even the slightest condemnatory air about her. Everyone there was super nice. The citrus cocktail tasted delightful and was very refreshing. The cashew burger was good but the raw cheesecake was phenomenal! It’s not a meal that will leave you hungry either. You’ll feel full just as long as you would after a burger and fries but all the time knowing you’re doing good to your body. The citrus cocktail has every flavor described on the menu. It’s mostly orange juice with a tangible hint of grapefruit and a splash of lemon. The raw cheesecake doesn’t taste like cheesecake but it reminds you of cheesecake. The fresh fruit is a delightful topping. The cashew burger tastes similar to a burger but that’s only because it has the same condiments as a traditional burger. The texture is not the same. Don’t expect a patty as you might at some places. I would have put a photo up but I ate everything too quickly to get one. Just try it. You’ll love it.
Yuck. I gotta agree with the other person, this place was horrible. My wife drug me in there a few months back. She decided we were going to get healthier. Don’t get me wrong, I love vegetables. I am a southern boy raised up on a farm on southern home cooking. But..If you are going to market yourself as a southern soul food place, have something southern or soulful on the menu. It was a bunch of hoity toity fru fru cahcah that tasted like it was fresh from the litterbox not the fields. The joint was empty too when me and the wife was there. I can’t see this place being open too long.
Hideous. The restaurant was empty during peak dining hours. That should have been a clue. The food was over priced and not palatable. The menu was pretentious and failed to live up to its own bravado. Don’t waste your time–oh did I mention the service was horrible and we were the only people in the restaurant?06/23/2014- In response to Bretta Blanton- Your employees sat at that little bar thing and stared at us for 20 minutes before even coming to the table and offering a menu. When one finally did ask us what we wanted, it was with contempt as if we were disturbing her. Then it was another 45 minutes before the inedible gruel was served, at which time the perpetual staring began again. I know how monkeys at the zoo must feel being gawked at during meal times. Some people may think what you serve is great. I, personally do not. I found it inedible as did my vegetarian daughter. No matter how you want to spin it, your food was subpar, the service was poor, and we will not be returning. That is our opinion and our choice. Best of luck!
