I love this place. I avoid the fried chicken breast as it tends to be overcooked and dry but there’s plenty else to love. Great tea and slaw! Not sure about Mac and cheese, it looks like not likely baked.21 Oct, 2014Good fast food. This place is really great for fast, affordable and good quality food. I would not use it for a special occasion, but I’d choose it over ANY chain restaurant. Meat and 2-or-3, biscuit or cornbread and good iced tea … those are the basics and that’s what they do well. The fried chicken has an excellent crust but can be overcooked sometimes. The meatloaf soft and greasy but delish anyway! We’re addicted to it for the flavor, the convenience (speed) and the cost … great for a meal on the run!

I was disappointed in the food that was cool to lukewarm at best. Fried catfish wasn’t very good (Cracker Barrell much better).

Best corn pudding I’ve ever put in my mouth! Loved the laid back atmosphere. Super friendly staff!
