Best Thai restaurant in Nashville, hands down…. Always great; make sure to arrive early, it’s a tiny restaurant and always popular.Pot stickers are a must.
We had a group of 6 that ate here. It was everyone’s first visit and we all throughly enjoyed our meal. From the appetizers to the main entre it was delicious. Worth a visit.
Great little place with the best Thai I’ve had in Nashville. It is cooked much more authentic than most. The peanut rolls are a must. They’re only $5 for 6 and they are delicious. They also have different curries each day which is nice. And last, their teas are out of this world! I had the honey lime and could have drunk 3, but the refills aren’t free unfortunately.
Nice little place and good food. The thai pad is delicious, the service is good but the restaurant is kinda small.
Smiles All Around!!!. Foodies, GO EAT HERE NOW. To die for authentic Thai food in an adorable Ma & Pa setting! Don’t miss the Tom Kha, Hibiscus Thai tea or the authentic Pad Thai!
Very inconsistent. I’ve been very disappointed with the Smiling Elephant. The food has gotten to be pretty bad. Inconsistent would best describe the food. The first time I came here, I thought it had the best pad thai in Nashville. The last couple of times, the food wasn’t even edible.
Amazing Thai food!. This is REAL Thai food! The dumplings took me back to the streets of Bangkok many years ago when I lived there as a teenager. Their Tom Yum Goong (lemon grass soup with shrimp) is perfect. The chicken and cashews is outstanding. They even serve duck–just like you’d get hanging in the glass displays in Thailand–with their amazing pad thai. You won’t find Thai food like this unless you go to Thailand, and you’re not likely to find better if you do. Thanks, Sam, for spending time with us and showing us the pictures from your trip! Ahan aroy dee. Kop Khun mak!
