Authentic and flavorful, especially you choose from the Chinese side of the menu. The standard American-style dishes are good, but not special. We love this place and dine in or carry out often!Try the Chengdu Beef (spicy with peppers, incredibly savory), Farmer Chicken (deliciously sauced with veggies), Pork Lo Mein (standard noodle goodness). I’ve had one of the best tendon soups here as well. Add a pot of oolong tea if you’re dining in. Kids meals are substantial and a proper meal with good food, not a cheap imitation. Our 4-yr-old loves it.Small bar, clean and well-bussed dining room.
Though a bit tricky to find (hidden on a corner of a strip mall) once inside it’s a very clean, inviting dining environment. Our service had been fine. Prices are pretty competitive in most cases. And, the food is perfectly adequate, though not outstanding. Egg rolls are small and in a thin wrapper. Not too much there to give them much flavor. Mongolian beef has been better than most. Sweet and sour chicken is about par for the course. Thickly battered and served with a sauce that’s much more sweet than anything. Overall, it’s a pleasant experience, just not one to go out of your way for.
