Peters Sushi reminds me more of fast food than a real restaurant. The dining room is cramped and noisy with a glass front and cheap furniture. The food is quite spicy but in an unflavorful way which is most unpleasant.
If you’re not a vegetarian you can safely disregard this post 🙂 Everyone seems to love this place and it does have an awesome location but veggie roles are seriously lacking. If you’re in a pinch they do have takeout.
I was excited about trying this place after some recommendations from friends. I was very disappointed. We got the sushi and fried rice. Fried rice is average, Thai tea is like any other Thai restaurant, not a bad thing. The sushi was the dissapointment, we had bones in our sushi which is very offputting. When I asked if that was normal, they said it was normal to have some….the sauces were lacking and overall it was a bit bland. I will say that it was fresh and there were no offputting tastes. I will not be going back and would not recommend this place if you are going for sushi, the rest of the food I can’t speak for.
Green curry chicken was great. Portion was huge and Very spicy. Didn’t care for the soup though. The fish sauce was a little too strong for me.
You’ve got ton try the new boat noodles at Peter’s Thai and Sushi. It’s a lot like Vietnamese pho and will warm you right up. The broth has a nice brightness from the lemongrass and the crunchy marrow bits are delicious bits of yumminess throughout the delicious noodles and veggies .
One word…..AMAAAAAZING!!
I placed a to go order for two separate rolls and both were boxed and ready to go in just about 10 minutes. I didn’t call it ahead either simply walked in. They are friendly and the food is delicious.
