Gong down hill. Saw article on tastingnashville.com Very sad this place going down hill, and the new location looks nice, but no wi-fi and has meeting rooms. Explain that in 2014? 3 bucks for a brownie seems high No?
Bad place
Nice breakfast spot. Saw the reviews and we were staying very close so this would be the perfect breakfast spot and overall I was very pleased. I had a croissant sandwich with eggs, cheese and bacon and it was tasty and good choice. I also ordered one pancake and that was average at best a bit doughy so glad I did not get the stack. My wife had the grits and a couple eggs and she liked the grits. We also split a poppy seed muffin and it was great but why do restaurants insist on serving the butter hard as a rock that makes it impossible to spread on the muffin without reducing it a pile of crumbs.
5 words. Apple Bread With Carmel Glaze. The apple bread with Carmel glaze is amazing! Don’t go there without trying it! Their poppyseed bread is very good, too. I’ve been twice for lunch. Had the crab cakes which were delish, and their Amerreto chicken salad which was … Meh – so-so. Same with the cranberry salad that I’ve heard a lot about. I will always try to stop there when in Brent wood simply for the atmosphere and the apple Carmel cake. You should really give the place a try.
Everything is great-especially the lemon poppy seed bread and hash brown casserole. Day old cookies half off.
Used to love this place…. I used looove this place…but now there are so many little specialty bakeries that I rarely go. Food is still good but I wish they would introduce some NEW items & I’m always disappointed that they don’t stay open later! Always friendly & still my old standby…
