Worst Mexican I’ve been to. The fish taco was deep fried and the topping was red cabbage only. On the side I had some white rice out of a bag and it was so salty. Bad, bad, bad!!! Never again
Really Good!!!… You can tell by the amount of people waiting to get in. We parked by the movie theater because there were no more places available around the restaurant, by the way they move around the other side from the theater to Trenton Rd. They prepare the guacamole right in front for you, really fresh,we had the fish and the fajitas were great and the carnitas and the enchiladas did look really good but the pie ions are big so really hard to eat more than one entree. We got there by recommendation, and I am glad we tried it, We will recommend it too.
This is a pretty authentic Mexican joint. The empanadas were FANTASTIC, the main dishes were also delicious but a little cold. The server was super nice, the happy hour margaritas were $5.99 for a reason, more ice than tequila. They’re reasonably priced.. Definitely try the cheesecake dessert, OMG. This is a good bet for a quick authentic Mexican meal.
My Favorite Mexican Place in Clarksville. I am a regular. I think the salsa it great. I usually get the Chimi or fajitas. I do agree they over do it with salt at times. So I just ask for less of it when I order. The service is consistently pleasent. They are usually very full and busy when I’m there, weekend or week night.
Awful food, good atmosphere. This review was written by a friend of mine who has experienced El Bracero for himself:When I stepped into El Bracero I thought I would get good Mexican food; the theme is a Mexican Village. I had high hopes until I received my chips and salsa. The salsa was just tomato sauce, so I ordered some guacamole. The guacamole was good, it was not a dip. After the terrible salsa I decided to order something that no Mexican restaurant can possibly screw up, beef fajitas. The fajita meat muct have been covered in salt, because that was all I could taste. I may give the restaurant another try, but I have found better Mexican restaurants in Clarksville.

You can find better. El Bracero is just down the road from our house, so instead of our usual mexican place, at El Toro on Ft. Campbell Blvd, we went here. The food is OK, but there are better mexican places in Clarksville. When we walked in a lot of employees were sitting right inside the door and had to let the host know we were there since he was on his cell phone. The feel of the place is really bright and fun. After we were seated our orders were taken and food/drinks brought quickly, which was great. I ordered nachos, and my husband had the chimichanga. His chimichanga was good, but he said hes had better. My nachos had a lot of meat on it, they definetly didn’t skimp! But, I was a little disappointed that the nachos didn’t have queso cheese on them (I probably read the menu wrong). Overall it was a pleasent place to eat, we did go back again, but my husband and I will both agree that we’re willing to travel a little farther to have better mexican!
