Once was enough. Ate here about 3 weeks after I moved to Clarksville. Was Not impressed. I love Mexican Food.Dont get me wrong the restaurant was clean and decoartive, but the staff wasnt all that friendly, and the food had tasted like it had been under a heat lamp just waiting for someone to buy. Even the chips they served me before the meal were stale, and the water tasted funny.
We had the Chicken Chimichaunga a la carte. It was great. Should have been served on a hot plate though? First time I ever had a cold plate at a Mexican resteraunt.
The best Mexican in Clarksville!. My husband and I have tried a number of mexican restaurants in Clarksville, and we always come back to El Toro! I don’t understand how they make the food so flavorful! You can’t order wrong! The service is always quick and polite. The maragritas are strong, they don’t skimp! I’m craving El Toro just talking about it!
My favorite Mexican in Clarksville. Why is this my favorite from all of the Mexican restaurants in Clarksville? First, the service is friendly and attentive. Second, they have a Mexican buffet for lunch (and some dinners). I have never seen a Mexican buffet before. And it is WELL stocked with everything you can think of. Ever sit in a restaurant looking at the lunch specials thinking you cannot find the right combo for you? Look no more! You can have it all here. From Huevos rancheros, to both chicken and beef Fajitas, to nachos to both refried and whole beans, chimichanga to fresh fruit, fresh pico de gallo sauce, dessert and more!…this buffet will please your appetite. Give El Toro a try for their lunch buffet, they will not disappoint.
Great margaritas, large appetizers and a varied kids menu. The steak quesadilla was large, delicious steak, roasted vegetables and perfectly melted yet crisp. No skimping on the guac, sour cream, and lettuce and no extra charge either. Endless fresh chips and a pleasantly spicy salsa. The service was quick, friendly and gracious. My kids devoured their entire meals, even my teen said his hamburger (go figure, at a mexican restaurant, he orders a burger, lol) was actually one of the best he has had. Generous, tasty dishes with a good price will have us coming back again!
Great Place!. The food is good, the service is quick and they give a nice military discount…what more could one ask for?!?!
