They had great appetizer’s, my favorite is the jalapeo pretzel with cheese. The chicken Cesar salad is great as well. I must discredit the pizza. It isnothing like Italian pizza, more like jets pizza lol, but over all it’s a great place with a nice atmosphere and super fast service.
Great service. I’ve been there a few times and each time the service was great. The atmosphere is friendly and the servers are very attentive, plus the food was great for the price. I would definitely recommend this place, and I will be eating here again.

Unimpressive service…. I’ve had bad table service at this Old Chicago twice now. We even walked out after waiting for someone to come to our table for almost 10 minutes… we were sat, then ignored. We might not have taken offense if they had actually been busy. We could clearly see the wait staff hanging in the corner by the bar. This was the 2nd time we received poor service, so we walked. Now if we’re craving some italian nachos or something old chicagoy we just go straight to the bar (where service has been great)… and if the bar is filled up, we walk to Rafferty’s. BOTTOM LINE: Food has been fine and on par with every other Old Chicago we’ve been to. Just go to the bar to avoid bad service.
I’m not sure what all the bad hype is for concerning this place. Compared to some local mom and pops they might be mis-ranked but we’ve always had good service and our pizza is always hot. Then again, we never go on Friday or Saturday nights between 6pm and 8pm when everyone else goes out… Then you are going to have problems parking, waiting, crowding, etc. I mean c’mon, that’s prime time. Is that really a reason to knock some place?
