Childhood Memories of this Place!. I recall eating at this place as a child. The gizzards are the best ever. As a child, I ate them and you know if a child is eating livers, you know it had to be good!!!
Horrible!. I can’t say horrible loud enough. We got chicken here 1 time because we had liked this franchise before in our hometown but oh my goodness, it was beyond horrible! The instant potatoes were even horrible and I didn’t know you could mess those up! Biscuits were not edible either and lets don’t even go to the chicken! The whole meal when into the trash and I have never even been tempted to try it again!!
Hidden gem. This is one those places that may look run down on the outside, but the food is deliciously worth it. The owners have been perfecting their fried chicken recipe for over 25 years, and it shows! New Orleans is also the only place in town that sells gizzards and livers worth trying. The best part is that they can make anything hot ‘n’ spicy! Anyone can eat like a king for under $10. The service is on par with fast-food restaurants, but the real experience is the food. Great food, good prices…take out, dine-in, or drive thru!
