Had the fish tacos with a side of red beans and rice. Food and service was awesome. Found a shard from the wood skewers in my fish batter. I showed it to my server and he notified Nicki who was the manager on duty. Without even asking she comped my meal and apologized for the issue. She took time to sit and talk with instead just writing off the problem which shows me that Cheddar’s is definitely training their managers in the art of customer service.
One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. Sticky table, rude-pushy waiter, and food that seems to have been sitting in the window for at least a day. Bleh!! I don’t recommend this place.

Great food. Lots of it. Attentive service. What else do you want? Philly steak sandwich full of whole mushrooms very tasty. Onion rings great and too many for three people. Chicken fried steak took up half the plate. Very good prices. Come early or expect a wait. Will be back

Cheddars Cookeville Tn. This was a big day for our family, we went to the Cookeville Tn Cheddars and from start to finish it was a horrible experience 1. We were told there was a 35 min. wait for a party of 11, we waited 1 1/2 hours, then we were put in 2 booths with a chair in the walkway. 2. We were assigned 1 server who could not possibly give good service with her station full and a large party. We all got our food at different times and 3 meals had to be sent back, and the manager tried to charge us twice for those. 3. A simple drink off the menu was ordered straight up (no ice, but shaken in ice first. and I was given a glass of ice, an empty glass, and the shaker w/ the ingredients in it, for me to do myself. They had no clue what they were doing. 4. We spoke to the manager and he acted like he couldn t be bothered to even make eye contact. Then he took the tip for the server off the tab, like it was her fault. It was not. We tipped her anyway. For heavens sake get this store a decent manager, this one is awlful, and really doesn t care.
