I don’t understand why everyone and their brother eats at Cheddar’s all the time. Yes, you get huge portions, but they aren’t cheaper than any other chain restaurants in the area. On this particular visit, I had the Spasagna, which I had never tried before. It was just baked spaghetti. They were out of garlic bread, but didn’t bother to tell me that until they brought my plate. I eventually got some croissants about halfway through my meal. The spasagna was okay, but definitely nothing to write home about. I wouldn’t get it again. My mom got the Chicken Fried Chicken, corn and mashed potatoes. The corn wasn’t even warm, and she got about a 1oz cup of gravy for the chicken AND potatoes. Anyone knows that’s nowhere near enough gravy for the portions they give you. Our waitress was okay, but not very attentive. The only thing I can say for Cheddar’s is, their onion rings are to die for. That’s one thing that is always wonderful. Definitely not my favorite restaurant.

I came in to pick up my order, about 20 minutes after they said it would be done, which was supposed to be in 15-20 minutes, and it was not done. I had to wait an extra 10 minutes from the time I paid for it, to the time the bartender went to go in the back to go get it. On top of that, my food was not even warm. I had to microwave it when I got home. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrapper with Fries and the Classic Lunch Combo with Half a Cheddar’s Club and a Loaded Baked Potato, and my buffalo chicken wrapper did not come with ranch nor did it come with the buffalo sauce on my chicken. To make everything worse, the bartender ignored me when I was standing there but made sure to ask the people with the wait list buzzer if they were picking up. The bartender’s name is Kailey and she was very rude. She did say thanks when she came out with my food but not in a way where I felt like she meant it. Needless to say, I will NOT be coming back to this restaurant and will be letting my family and friends know about my experience.

Generally pretty good food. Not many vegetarian options though. The salads and French fries are always good. Mac and cheese was also good. Cozy rustic ambience, same as any other location.
