Sub Heaven. I don’t eat at Firehouse Subs to get a healthy sub; although I’m sure there are healthy options. I go to treat myself to a hearty, melted cheesy, sauted onion & peppers, meal of a SANDWICH! I kind of forgot what a good, fresh sub could taste like before Firehouse came to town.
Very tasty; however, not the healthiest. Despite being super tasty, their subs are really high in sodium and calories. If you are watching your weight, or watching salt intake do not eat here. Even if you leave off the mayo or cheese, there’s still quite a bit of salt remaining
Firehouse rescues Cookeville from Sub mediocrity. After eating at several Firehouse Subs in DFW, I knew what Cookeville was getting beforehand. Even I was surprised from what I found at the Cookeville Firehouse Subs. The service, food quality and atmosphere all met or exceeded my expectations. My NY steamer on wheat tasted fresh and delicious. Subwho? Bellawho? Quizwho? There is a new sub player in town and they are here to stay. Remember free sub on your birthday with an ID.6 Subs were compared to Subway and the the total sodium was 10 within each other.
