I like the IHOP franchise, but this one seems a little different. What I did not like the most was the fact that the staff was trying to clean the HVAC intake vents above the registers and food… IN THE MIDDLE OF LUNCH HOUR. Dust was flying everywhere and people were having to make their way around the ladders. I would call that a fire hazard. Very poor management of such a simple task. You wanna clean the vents, do it before you open or after you close, not in the middle of food being delivered during a rush hour. Cleanliness is a priority in my food ventures and this one violation really ticked me off.
It ain’t half bad! When am extremely hungry and you feed me food, am good. We got here in the breakfast for dinner mood and were not disappointed. We were showed to our table and we got down to ordering. It is a regular chain with the looks and feel for the same. We went for the $10 for 2 option which served 2 omelettes alongside stacked pancakes. We ordered the Garden and the Spinach Mushroom Omelettes. We also ordered a plate of Hash Browns. Note to self, never order in excessive amount especially when you are extremely hungry and not in a condition to think straight. The food took a while to get to us and although the Hash Browns were ready, it wasn’t served until later. It tasted good! No complaints. I usually do not review chain restaurants as everyone is aware of the quality of food, but just this once, I chose to make an exception!
Good food, but overpriced. Your food is not competitively priced, so instead of going back to IHOP over and over again, I get the same quality and quantity of food at many other restaurants in the area at far better prices. Change pricing and I’ll come back, but I can assure you that Cracker Barrel has better quality breakfast food at far better pricing.
