Beautiful atmosphere and wonderful food.. Mauricio’s is definitely my favorite restaurant in Cookeville. I go there 3-4 times a year, usually for special occasions. It is a little on the pricier side, but you definitely get what you pay for. The staff have always been wonderful and the food is delicious. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a night out or a nice romantic dinner. To make it even better, it’s in a beautiful Victorian-style house!

Great atmosphere and excellent service. We both had the filet and it was out of this world. They were out of lobster bisque, so I had the tomatoe bisque. It was finely pured with perfect seasonings. Salad and bread were thoughtful rather than an afterthought. Only sour note of the evening was the risotto my wife requested with her filet. It was terrible. Something about the way they seasoned it. It was also al dente which we don’t normally associate with risotto. But it didn’t affect the evening. Wonderful meal and frankly, a surprise in Cookeville. We’ll return as often as we have the chance to visit Cookeville.
My boyfriend and I enjoyed a superb meal at Mauricio’s. We will definitely return and plan to bring our guests that visit us here in cookeville. Both the food and service were far above our expectations.
Been eating here for 10 years and never had a bad meal. Congratulations Gentlemen !
