Awesome through the years. I have been living outside of Cookeville for over 20 years now and when I come to visit I absolutely have to stop by there and eat at least twice or more. Better than White Castle and Krystals by far. Yeah, they serve you on wax paper if you dine in but that is what you are getting if you order for takeout as well. You also see right in front of you where they prep the burgers if you sit at the counter. Can’t beat them.
Strange and Bad. I ate there because it looked cool and old-school. It was awful! Slider-type burgers served on a piece of wax paper! NO PLATE! And very soggy and greasy, really bad. Took a long time to get food and staff were friendly if they knew you, they didn’t know me so not nice at all. Very concerned about people in line outside and went out to get orders from friends pulling up for drive-thru. If inside, plan on waiting for a long time.
Inexpensive, fast service,and the taste of those little square burgers is unchanged over the years. Miniburger helped keep me fed through my lean college years. Their Belgian waffles and home fries are really good, too. The staff isn’t the most friendly, but if want cheap food and not all the chit chat, this place will do. :0)
