Moogie’s is the Best. I order alot of pulled pork plates for people at work including customers. Everyone loves it, no matter what country they’re from!!! The biggest complaint::: Too much food and some can’t eat it all 🙂 Now that’s the best complaint a restaurant can get.
The Worst BBQ within 3000 miles. Worst BBQ in Cookeville and the worst I have ever had ever and I am comparing this to British BBQ which I thought was the worst I had ever eaten. It is overpriced if they were giving it away. They try to make-up for the bs recipe with hot spices which just make it even worse because they choose bad spices. I love hot food I love the hell out of BBQ but this place fails at both.
The food is super quick the staff rocks and the food is to die for. Plus you can write on the walls and tables!
I love barbecue and Moogies is a great deal for what you pay. Also, they are constantly adding new items to their menu. While to each his own, Bobby Q’s is just as good but Moogies prices are better plus larger portions (on certain items).

Great BBQ! Loved the vinegar based coleslaw. Definately worth the short detour off I40.
This beats the pants off bobby q’s. That’s all I can really say about…go to downtown, around city hall, on a week day and see how long you can go without drooling over the smell….Prices are okay, the old man who runs the place is friendly, and you can tell the meat was actually smoked.
