We had the prime rib with brussel sprouts, broccoli and mixed vegetables. The steak was a nine ounce. It cooked to specs and served with aujous and horseradish sauce. Very good.
Frozen reheated…Bland. I took the advice of one reviewer and had the prime rib, the reviewer must be the owner or something because the food was so weak. We all had different items and shared them with each other. Sadly we all had to admit the food tasted like frozen crap from the local Sam’s Club. The Prim wasn’t even as good as O’Charley’s( and that isn’t saying much) the orange chicken was something precooked frozen and reheated. I would not eat here again the decor was a bit lazy, the food was bland, but the service was ok (5 out of 10). Plus the

Nick’s still has the best French onion soup anywhere!
This is a very bad and unsatisfing place to go if your looking for a upscale restaurant. Food was not cooked to our order veggie were under cooked, you would do better if you went to one of many other places in Cookville then Nick’s. And your to go bag won’t be a used Wal-mart bag. A push cart vender has better food.
For more than 20 years Nick’s has been the best prime rib in Cookeville. It is still true today.
