Perk up is a one of a kind local coffee shop. This is a very small yet beautifully done place. We headed here for a late evening coffee. Creative places always make me happy. This place is beautiful. The interiors are quirky. They have witty quotes up on some walls and Children’s art on others. There is a room with couches surrounding this chalkboard table. Very artsy! They also have a few nice looking items on sale which also make a good display. My friend really liked the music although we could not figure out what was actually playing. I had a Mocha Latte, very tasty indeed and my friend had a Hazelnut Coffee which was a tad too sweet. But, I give them the benefit of the doubt.They have a drive-thru if you are in a hurry. But this place is definitely worth your while and a sit. True to it’s name, Perk Up definitely perks you up. I would definitely go back here to either lift my spirits up when am low or to enjoy some good coffee!

Perk Up serves up a great cup of coffee, and provides the latte lover with everything a deep cup of flavor should be. Additionally, the folks that serve your favorite java provide you with sincere service. There isn’t a better place for a java junkie to fill up on the best taste of the day. You won’t be disappointed at Perk Up.
The First Place to Stop for Coffee in Cookeville. Perk Up has the finest selection of coffee in Cookeville; there are other which are quite good of course but this is the top of the heap. Their excellent product is wedded to real craftsmanship by the baristas (try the Cup of Joy or my personal favorite, the Milky Way). Customer service is always friendly and conversational and the prices are very very reasonable. Perk Up has become a favorite meet-up destination in Cookeville because of the comfortable and relaxed ambiance. As my title states, if you are looking for good coffee in Cookeville start here.
Absolutely great coffee and is about a dollar cheaper than poets or Sweet Sallie’s, depending on what you get. The location is small and sometimes quiet which can make for meeting people awkward if its just you guys in there having a conversation, however if you in the afternoon on a weekday or if they ever have any live bands it’s typically pretty full and loud enough to feel comfortable having a conversation. The baristas are absolutely great, too. Probably my favorite coffee shop in town.
Delightful coffee shop! They take their time to make the best possible drink! Very satisfied and will definitely go there again!
Coffee. I think this is one of the BEST places to get coffee. Stephen is so friendly and he knows just what you want before you get to the drive thru window.
Coffee Worth Drinking. In my humble opinion, this is the only coffee shop in Cookeville that serves a coffee worth drinking. Anything St**bu**s makes, Stephen can make better….not to mention that coffee house on the square. Go by and enjoy a coffee with Perk Up and tell them Kat sent you!
