I’ve only eaten here once and the ribs were fall-of- the-bone great, not sure why the rating is so low. The service was fast during lunch hours, refills on drinks were on time, and the bathrooms were clean.
Good food & Service. I’ve ate there several times. Always great service and the food is some of the best I’ve ever had. Just an all around good joint.
This place is a joke. They should not call themselves a BBQ joint. The service was great, the ribs were ok, the pork and turkey breast…. Sandwich meat. Not at all how a BBQ joint should be. The beans were watery. The applesauce….. Be for real! The slaw was so amateur. The sweet potato fries were obviously store bought and bleh. Won’t be eating here ever again.
Mothers day. I took my mom and family to rib city for Mother’s Day lunch. The place was real busy and our food and service could not been better. We found out about rib city from friends at cookeville hospital that has rib city cater doctor meetings all the time. Chad does a great job managing The restaurants food and service at all times. That’s why there business is Growing leaps and bounds. There number one in our book. James
Just a whatever place. Middle of the road BBQ but world’s better than Moogie’s. The staff seems a bit ehh whatever. I am guessing because they are making any money since the place is so empty at lunch. The prices are a bit high for the area and its location couldn’t be worse.
Health issues. The server at the table across from us LICKED her hand after setting down a plate on a table. I guess she had some sauce on it. Our server brought drinks to the table holding 2 glasses with her fingers IN THE SODA! I couldn’t eat after seeing that kind of thing and the food is frozed reheated tasting, clearly not fresh!
I’m sure it was a hit in its day. Now very oudated. The food just passed as acceptable. Nothing great. Would not take out of town guests there to impress or show off some of the great eateries in the area. No second chance here.
