What a gem for Cookeville!! I had a friend in from Budapest and we gave World Foods a try. After we had cleaned our plates, we ordered what the other person had and cleaned them again. This authentic menu will not disappoint. I went back after he left and ended up getting two more dishes…I still haven’t found anything I wouldn’t recommend. Also, I hear good things about their pizza….still yet to try it though.

Unbelievable. My husband and I stopped by World Foods on our way through Cookeville, and unknowingly walked in the door 10 minutes before it was about to close. Coming from a family who also owns a restaurant, once we realized the workers were trying to clean up and get out, we hurriedly ordered pizza slices to go. While we waited, the owner (Sharon) talked to me and my husband, and was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our server (Bill) was also extremely friendly, and YA’LL. That pizza is AMAZING. We also ordered a slice of cheesecake and a slice of chocolate cake, but I have not yet tasted those, as I am still full and satisfied from the two slices of pizza. 🙂 We will absolutely be back, any chance we can.

Finally a place that has real pizza. The best pizza in all of Tn. Owners were very friendly. Had a little bit of everything there and we will be back again.

Wasted Lunch Hour. Dont’ have the staff to meet the demands of the customers. 30 minutes is too long to wait for a sandwich that I never got! Sorry, this is not a place to go for lunch unless you have a couple of hours….

The $2.95 Falafel that should be $9.95. We just stopped by World Foods to visit our dear friends at their Mom & Pop Restaurant. While we didn’t get a chance to try the pizza that everyone raves about, we did try the falafel which is the best this side of Jerusalem. Better check it out soon before they raise the price!!! While you’re at it, try the Buddha Beer for a refreshing taste. And don’t forget to sample the other exotic delicacies. Likely the Best Pizza in Cookeville. My main assertion is that this is the leader of the pack for pizza in Cookeville. The crust is amazingly crisp and the toppings full of flavor in a way that can’t be captured by text. The seasoned tomatoes make everything better and their non-traditional offerings (such as gyro pizza) are top notch.I feel, however, that this emphasis on pizza denigrates the quality of their other offerings. The lamachun is worth traveling great distances for. Their gyro is second to none. If you like Mediterranean / Greek food… wait…. if you like food in general you should dine here often.

World Foods. I love this quaint restaurant. I haven’t had anything I didn’t like. Pizza, Gyro, Reuben, Greek Salad and much more. It’s all delicious. I totally recomend this place for a great lunch.
