The worst pad Thai I’ve ever eaten. Also the most disinterested staff. Definitely not worth another visit
Perfectly named thai restaurant. We ordered three dishes to share. Out of the three, they somehow managed to get two of them wrong (We realized one was wrong before digging in and sent it back. The other one – which was supposed to be basil shrimp – we simply tolerated). The food was not good. The Pad Thai was unlike any I’ve ever had, swimming in some sort of sauce with tons of green onions. The Peanut Chicken was extremely bland with very little sauce. The Basil Shrimp was, well, not basil shrimp. In their defense, maybe we caught them on a bad night. They appeared to be woefully understaffed.
Excellent spicy pad tai. Will serve heat when requested.
Good but not Great. The food was pretty good, but the service was poor. We waited a long time for our food to arrive and they didn’t even bring it all together. I received my meal first and about twenty minutes later, my boyfriend received his. If I had started eating first after receiving my food, I would have finished before my boyfriend received his food! That was a little upsetting. I would still recommend this restaurant but just be aware that the service is slow (so don’t plan on catching a movie afterwards).
Always Great!. Sukho Thai is the best Thai place I have been to in Nashville, maybe anywhere. It’s affordable lunch, with leftovers! The hot is seriously hot – I love it. You would have to smack the smile off my face, because it makes me happy when I eat there! I always get the chicken curry – the spring rolls are crisp & the fried rice is a steamed version.
I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious this place was. I was skeptical coming in, because this restaurant definitely lacks curb appeal. However, when you walk in the place has a very charming ambiance. There was one lady taking care of all 10 seated tables plus the phone and busing, but she does a great job and has a fantastic attitude. When I told her how impressed I was she told me that her husband was the only one in the kitchen as well. She said her son used to help but moved to college. I was so happy with my Tofu Panang and my overall experience that I tipped her very well and made up my mind to write them a great review =] I definitely recommend this place especially if you’re staying at the Opryland Hotel like myself. I really enjoyed it!
Great experience for family dinner. Our daughter’s favorite Thai place. Small but airy and nice decor. Good location near Opryland Hotel, The Opry , and Midnight Jamboree at Ernest Tubb Record Shop. Several other restaurants in area without having to get out on interstate if you are from out of town. This is an authentic Thai experience without being scary. Staff isn’t as friendly as some places but the food is very good and served family style so you can share or sample.
