I ordered the Teriyaki Salmon with fried rice. The salmon was thin, dry, and not fresh. I could tell it was just frozen filets, normally that would be expected but this is also a sushi place so fresh fish is kind of expected. The stir fried veggies were hot but tasted old and moldy. From what I tasted, the fried rice seemed nice but after the taste of the veggies I was scared to eat it. I paid twenty dollars for this. 10/10 would never recommend.

Saw the signage for Arigato and was determined to try it. Glad I did. When I arrived, it was a bit early for the lunch hour rush, and I was seated promptly. I requested an alternate location, which was no problem. After a few minutes glancing over the menu, I ordered a very similar fare to the I had enjoyed earlier at another sushi bar. I wasn’t disappointed. The roe was delightfully salty, the tuna sushi was artfully presented and fresh, and the octopus was equally tasteful. I plan to expand my sampling of their fare.

Ok, so I bought a voucher to use at this restaurant. I placed an order, fitting into the value of the voucher. And then the owner changed the prices of the food I had ordered from the menu prices. Needless to say, I told them to keep the food because of the jacked up prices, and i called Groupon or Living Social (can’t remember which), and I promptly got my money back for the voucher. I should have known there was something about this place when there were no customers at 6pm.

Satisfying. Good green tea, fresh salmon, friendly. Not too expensive.

Arigato Sayonara is a more authenic Japanese restaurant unlike the americanized hibachi style restaurants. The food here is excellent! I have not found a dish i didn’t like as of yet. The sushi chef is great also. The b29 roll is out of this world!!
