Prepare to be disappointed. The food and ice cream are great but service and attitude of staff and management is terrible. I live in Sylvan Park and used to love walking over there. But as the nostalgia can no longer overcome the terrible experience. Frequent at your own peril.

It USED to be a great place to eat!Under new and STINGY management! I just paid $10.00 for two shakes that came out in Dixie cups! I will NOT be back!
Visit practically every time we go to Vanderbilt. First, the fries are great. They just have a good taste. Better than Five Guys and Pharmacy. The burgers are ridiculous. I get the Guacamole Burger and it just taste great. Spicy and always fresh. To top it off the James Brown shake or twist soft serve. Thick and perfect to finish things off. Only thing I could say is to tidy up outside. Don’t change, just clean. Worth the trip every time.
Get people who give a damn.. Good ice cream but they lost my business last week. Common courtesy would be nice. My wife waited at the window for 10 minutes and wasn’t acknowledged by anyone on staff. I’ll get gelato instead.
Great milk shake and waffle cone!!!
I look for reasons to get to that part of town. The Loretta Lynn butter pecan milk shake is everything a milk shake should be. Make sure to ask for a spoon. The burgers, while a little over cooked are very tasty, generous, and well appointed. They have a changing selection of cone dips. Fries are first rate. My only gripe is that it wouldn’t hurt to take a pressure washer to the floor and walls every once in a while. This isn’t Antiques Road Show and the patina doesn’t add value to the experience.
