Wow. The wife and I spent the night downtown at the holiday inn, how lucky for us to find this place across the street and less then a block down. A little cramped, not dirty but obviously been around a while. Our waiter was great, a bit of a character but very nice and attentive. So let’s get to the food. I had my go to dish, goat curry, I think it was the best I’ve ever tasted. The wife had the tandoori salmon which was enough to feed three people, I am not a big fish fan, but it was really tasty. We ordered some nan but really didn’t have to, the rice and lentils that came with our orders was more then enough, wouldn’t have ordered the nan if we knew how much came with our meal. Just a great dining experience after a 7 hour drive.
Love this place. I generally avoid lunch buffets but theirs is of such a high quality and authenticity that anyone who likes Indian ought to check it out.

I ordered just one dish Boti Kabab, it was by far the worst I’ve ever had, the meat was hard and chewy and it had no flavor, after reading that it was possibly the best Indian restaurant in Nashville I must say that judging by just one dish if this is the best then I couldn’t imagine what the worst restaurant would taste like, it was so bad that i almost called them to ask for a refund and bring the dish back, but instead opted for this review to warn others, if you go there, don’t get the boti kabab.
Great place. The food is very flavorful, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. The parking is a little difficult, so be wary about going during rush hour.
Lots if vegetarian selections. Mango veggies were delicious. Very good service. Will be back!I want to try the lunch buffet.
The ONLY place for Indian cuisine…. There are two other well known places in the Nashville area that DONT EVEN COMPARE to the ‘Palace’!! Service is Great, FOOD IS WONDERFUL!!
