Great Food. Bad bar service. Been here twice. Ate in bar both times. food is some of the best mexican food I have had. but service was horrible. I waited 15 mins for a 2nd drink the bar tender walk by grabbed my empty bottle discarded it and never ask me if i wanted another, was my food OK, did I need anything. I sat for 25 minutes before I asked for my check, he never once asked if I needed anything. A girl came in next to me ordered a drink and didn’t get it for 20 minutes. she was to busy talking on her phone to notice, a girl across the bar asked for her check and it was close to 30 minutes befote she gots hers. granted place was packed very busy. but the bartender was never behind the bar!?? If he spent as much time waiting on his customers as he did watching and BSing about the football game and flirting with all the women maybe the bar service would have been much better. I will not go back!! To bad food was so good.
Food is great!! Restaurant is really dirty and sticky 🙁
Fresh, Authentic & Friendly!. After hearing recommendations from caver friends, finally made it to Casa Fiesta on 4/6/14 and found that it lived up to its reputation and then some. Early for dinner on a Sunday, it was already busy. As advised, we overlooked the fact that it adjoins a Motel 6 & is painted a neon, Frankenstein-esque green, and were glad we did! No wait & great homemade chips & salsa arrived quickly. The salsa had a just the right mount of kick, as well as fresh cilantro. After a day of ridgewalking & caving, I was hungry & ordered a combo (Chile Relleno, Taco, Enchilada, Refried Beans w/ melted Cheese & Rice for $7.50). I usually get a soft chicken taco, but I forgot to specify & was pleasantly surprised with a crunchy, home made corn shell filled with tasty beef, cheese, lettuce & tomato. My relleno’s Poblano pepper was batter-less, unusual, but still good & saved some calories. You can specify it stuffed with cheese & meat, but I just had cheese, which was ample & fresh (no processed cheese food crap served here). The seeds & pith had been properly removed, too. Everything else was excellent & as you would expect in a restaurant at least half-filled with first language Spanish speakers. Though hungry, portions are large, so I still had leftovers for the next day. Service was prompt & efficient & all employees were unusually outgoing & friendly! Conveniently located just off I-24’s Bell Rd. Exit between Nashville & Murfreesboro, we will be back!! The outdoor seating looks great for when the weather is warmer, and lunch is served 7 days a week until 3, too!
Amazing!!! We saw before we went that they had received mixed reviews and decided to try it out. So glad we did! Friendly service, and delicious food and a really great price! What more could you ask for.
This is by far one of my favorite Mexican restaurants around. They’re service is fast and nice, the food is good for the price, and the margaritas are yummy too.
PRETTY DARN GOOD. After Seafood I would have to say that Mexican Foods comes in 2nd. I’ve eaten at the Elm Hill Pike location but decided it is best for my area to eat local. My number 1 test for a Mexican Restaurant is how good their Chili Rellenos are. This location passed with one minor glick (and I find this at most of the others) the Poblano Pepper had not been seeded. The main problem with that is the seeds are so hot and I am unable to enjoy the entire Chili Releno. Of course this is something that I’m used to.From the road this place looks busy day and night so it must be a favorite of many. I definitely go back and check out their Guacamole and Enchiladas.
I had to try my aunts favorite restaurant considering this is the only place she eats out at. Now coming from Houston I’m used to tex Mex and Mexican food from all ends of the spectrum. This is pretty original and the food taste food. Now the nachos and quasadilla isent much to brag about but thier tacos, burritos and carne gusada fajitas are top notch. Service is pretty good most nights. The patio dining is quite refreshing however, even though the view of Bell rd isent much to look at. Try it, amongst the few Mexican places I have tried, this and chuys are top in Nashville so far. Can we get a Lupe tortilla here please?
