What a wonderful restaurant. Beautiful outside and in, with high ceilings and French decor. Great food & service. From the escargot to the french onion soup to the fresh catch of the day. Yum! Great wine & dessert selections! Take your time, relax and enjoy a leisurely paced meal. This is one of very few authentic french restaurants in Nashville worth going to!
Wonderful French food. I lived in New York City for 12 years, where I ate at many of the top French restaurants. After living in the Nashville area since 2006, and having eaten at most of the top restaurants here, I can say that I have not experienced anything as truly French as Chateau West. Some restaurants here have French elements, but this is a restaurant where you will find the classic French dishes that you would find in other major cities in the world. I ordered the foie gras terrine, the duck chambord and the profiteroles. Every dish was prepared to perfection and was simply delicious. I will be back — again and again — and I hope that Nashville foodies realize what a gem we have in Chateau West.

Great Dining. Excellent service, ambiance and food. Romantic atmosphere. Nice French flair. I had the duck confit which was great and wife had the scallops. Recommend highly. One of the better classical restaurants in Nashville. Very unlike the recent trend of edgy young restaurants with weird limited menus that are not very good and way too expensive!

Food was fantastic. Really solid portions and the flavors were delicious. We’ll be back!
First glimps. So far all I have seen was the excellent dcor and met John at the bar and Joe the server. Hussain did an excellent job with what he had. He also owns Anatolia’s on White Bridge Road which has fed us well over the years. The Sauvignon Blanc was fresh and the in house baked bread, excellent. In France they say you will know a restaurant by its bread and soup. The chef is from Paris, Dino, the Matre d’ is from Tuscany and has been a veteran of Arthur’s since the beginning. He can speak French as well as Italian. The place if primed and ready with an excellent menu. Just back from France, my wife cannot wait to be there again. At least this will be a form of the real thing. We hated to see Riviera Provence and Sardinia’s close. Let’s not lose another.
