It was great!. My friend came in from out of town and I wanted to take her somewhere she’d never been before. I chose The Cottage Caf even though I had never been, but heard wonderful things. I’m glad I chose this place. My friend and I loved it. We both got sandwiches and both were delicious. I recommend trying the vanilla bean lemonade, it was a big hit with us. I will absolutely be back.
Lovely dining. The Cottage is a wonderful place to meet with friends and to take out of town guests. The food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere great and peaceful. There is no pressure to eat in a hurry. The waitresses are friendly and helpful. The desserts are absolutely delicious. Thank you, Berenice for staying in a Bellevue!
Southern Cuisine At It’s Finest. This little hidden treasure is a great little lunch spot for a girl’s day out. I am a native Nashville resident – 7 generations to be exact. I would have to say this little lunch spot is as good as some of the local restaurants that have been in town for a very long time. You will be amazed at the fresh ingredients. When you taste the food, you taste the love that it took to prepare it. I can’t say I know much, but I know about food. My family members have written published cookbooks and they have had family recipes put in published cookbooks. Cooking is part of my heritage. This restaurant is worth the visit. I have been singing the praises of this restaurant for the last 3 1/2 years. My friends have eaten at this restaurant and so has my family members – word of mouth goes far in this town. This little place will grow and make a name for itself. Happy Eating!
The best place you will ever go for Lunch!! I have been twice in one week and I don’t usually go out to Lunch
New Favorite. The Cottage Cafe is like every dream I ever had about a cozy little place with amazing food. It’s so cheerful and happy in there, and on my first time I got the most awesome grilled cheese and crab soup, and the vanilla bean lemonade–you HAVE to try it. It is mind bogglingly good, and they refill it for free and you can even take it home by putting a lid on it! And the cake. Is so. Delicious. Very rich and satisfying. I am so happy that I ventured over there because I’m new and don’t have a lot of friends to take places in the city, but I was perfectly happy to sit and read a good book there while enjoying some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. I HIGHLY recommend.
My Every Thursday Lunch Spot. The she crab soup is fabulous and the setting is perfecf. What a lovely place to dine with antique shops on each side of this special cafe. Having such a gourmet place to enjouy each week is wonderful. We have made many friends there and meet them weekly. Lori and Jason ae so welcoming and friendly. It’s like visiting family. We also enjoy the supurb cakes and dessetts not to mention the great sandwiches and salads.
