Best Carrot Cake!. Visiting from Charleston and had a great lunch at Crumb de la Crumb. The owners were friendly and gave us tips about Nashville. Fell in love with their carrot cake. Highly recommend when you are in Nashville.
Disappointed and Disgusted. I first visited this restaurant with a few of my family members, the food was delicious, the service was great and I loved the decor. I decided to return to the restaurant the following weekend for breakfast with a friend to celebrate his birthday. We both had bacon with our meal and the bacon tasted like fish, it was horrible!!! The owner appologized and he mentioned having a problem with his supplier, we accepted his apology and he gave us a slice of cake. The cake was delicious!!! A few weeks later we decided to return to the restaurant for coffee and cake. This time we requested French pressed coffee and a slice of cake. The waitress gave us a French press with thick dust all over it, we brought it to her attention and she was very cavalier about it and she took it away and never apologized for it. She brings the press back to the table with the coffee and it looked like she wiped it off and put it back on the table. As we began to pour the coffee out we noticed light colored particles in the press with the coffee, it was disgusting. We began to pull the press out and we could see debri in the press and In the coffee. We showed the waitress and she gave us a lack luster appology although she mentioned that it may have never been washed out since the last time they used it. This is disgusting and unacceptable!!! Needless to say, I will never eat at this restaurant again!
