The most amazing shrimp chimichangas anywhere in this city. Shrimp are huge and perfectly cooked. Service excellent. We do take out mostly but when we eat in the marguerites are very good.
Less than average Mexican. We went to El Agavero today for lunch. Most Mexican food has a happy medium for us. We were not expecting anything outstanding, One daughter got the fajitas and she said they were pretty good. One daughter got the nachos supreme. 4 out of 10… My husband got enchilladas supreme… he said 5 of10. I had the combo with enchillada, burrito and chili relleno….it was horrible. I wish I would have read the other reviews before we went there. Never to return!
We came here because Nachos had such terrible customer service that we had to find a new Mexican restaurant in Bellevue. The customer service was definitely better and we loved the steak tacos!

Favorite Mexican, Bellevue, TN. There are a few places to eat Mexican in Bellevue, TN. The popular places are Cancun, US Border Cantina and even Las Palmas. We have tried all places, but our favorite is definitely El Agavero. We chanced upon it during our first week in Nashville and then tried the other places to compare. We came back to El Agavero. The salsa and chips that greet you are the best. The food that comes (quickly) is hot, flavorful and plenty. And you really can’t beat the price.
Amazing place to eat!. Ate there much more when I worked at Home Depot. Please let’s keep this jewel of a restaurant open. Amazing food, margaritas are amazing, Juan and his brother are great!!! Just discovered their chicken tortilla soup, it’s amazing. Much better than Chuy’s. Great place
Juan’s top shelf Margarita’s are the best I have found anywhere. The food is amazing!!! The service provided by Caesar and Jose’ is second to none.
