Seated very quickly even with lunch hour rush. Best Sangria I’ve ever had. The lunch specials are perfect for portion size and extremely good. I definitely want to come back and explore more of the menu.
The chicken soup is awesome!!! The helpings are more than generous and the atmosphere makes is great. Parking is a nightmare though because it is right next to green hills mall.
Good Food, Sad Service. The food here, particularly the Chicken Soup, is always very good. They have a good salsa and a good queso dip too. The servers are miserable and seem bothered by your presence, but that doesn’t stop me from going because the soup is soo good. One thing I would say to the owners of this restaurant, please be more friendly and act like you care that I’m there. Other than that, it’s a good mexican place in Green Hills.
Never, never, never go to this restaurant. The proteans are bland. Rice is overlooked metallic mush. Beans a watery mess. But that’s not the worse part. The staff is disinterested, apathetic, and appear to be bothered when you request anything. Been a few times and got the same experience every time. Never seen a smile there yet.
Always a good meal. We have gone to El Palenque over 30 times and have always had fresh, great tasting food! Drinks are well served as well. A local favorite……
Great friendly restaurant… Try the fajitas.
