Delicious Ethiopian food! Friendly, family-run atmosphere. I recommend the Vegetarian Sampler. It is served on a large Ethiopian bread. Large portions.
What a Joy!. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Goha this week and were treated to the best Ethiopian meal we’ve ever had. The server was helpful and explained what was on the menu and was very sweet and accomodating. Our spicy meal was served on a huge piece of Injera bread that was just delicious. It was a truely delightful, ethnic experience that even wooed my husband who was indulging me into a return trip. I loved it and the price was very fair. We felt like we’d been invited to Sunday dinner at a friends house. We’ll be back whenever the opportunity presents itself. 10+!
A taste adventure. A co-worker decided that we should have Ethopian for his birthday lunch and his first choice restaurant was closed on Mondays so we headed to Goha instead. I am so glad we did. The six of us ordered our meals in advance and had it served on one massive tray for the table to share. Everything we ordered was enthusiastically enjoyed by all. There was more food than the 6 of us could eat and all left with full bellies. It was a wonderful, community way to eat with lots of stories and laughter. This style of meal is conducive to a social experience. This is perhaps not for everyone but I thoroughly enjoyed this adventure in dining and look forward to visiting again.
Goha is amazing!. We went to Goha for the first time because the original Ethiopian place we were planning on ended up being closed on Mondays and we were hellbent on Ethiopian. We were so glad we found this place- food was excellent, staff was very friendly. Definitely would go back.
Best Ethiopian!. I must give the owners of Goha a round of applause. I have never had a bad dish at this restaurant. Their food is freshly cooked and the owners will always greet you with a warm smile and a hello. The place is family owned and is a true beacon of outstanding cuisine in Nashville. The place is the farthest thing from your run of the mill chain restaurant where everything is heated in the microwave and the waiter comes by every three seconds between bites to ask you if it still tastes the same. The owners are always kind enough to tweak my order a little (I like it rather spicy) to make it hotter than they normally serve to other non-Ethiopians. I have eaten Ethiopian in D.C. and Paris and neither match the superior quality I experience each time I go to Goha.
Excellent!!!. A resturant this good is a truly rare find. I have tried Ethiopian food from all around Nashville and other cities (including DC, Sydney and Paris) and I must say that Goha is, by far, the best I have ever had! All of the meals are prepared fresh and customized to an individual taste if you like. Goha is family owned and the owners are warm and friendly and will work to resolve any issue that could arise. Do yourself a favor and dine here!
Excellent food and super low prices. I loved this place. If you’ve never tried Ethiopian food, I highly recommend it. Sure, you eat with your hands, but it is an amazing experience.
