A very tasty dive. Bad stuff first: the place looks pretty rough. When my wife and I showed up, we almost didn’t go in. But I am SOOO glad that we did! Our waitress (likely one of the owners) was super friendly and pleasant. Their lunch buffet totally rocks if you’re a vegetarian; only one of the items contained meat. If you’ve never had Ethiopian food, think Indian, but much fewer spices and not as rich. I had some lentils, split peas, cabbage, and potatoes and beets, and everything was excellent! Bottom line: If you’ve never had Ethiopian food, you’ve gotta check it out! It’s super good and pretty healthy. Don’t let Gojo’s appearance drive you away; there’s a real gem inside!

We have never had Ethiopian food. It was really good. You do eat with your fingers using a flat bread. The #23 combo is the way to go. You get a nice sampling of dishes if you order two #23’s.

Lunch buffet – yuck. We were looking for Ethiopian for lunch, and this was the closest place. Since my friend had never tried it, I thought the lunch buffet might be okay. WRONG! The food was sort of cold, and the injeera was a weird gray color, very cold and wet. Plus, there was no wat or alisha on the buffet, so we didn’t get two of the most common things on Ethiopian menus.Overall, I bet this place is great for dinner, but I definitely would not recommend lunch here.
