Gold Star for Golden Thai. After our move to Nashville we have had a hard time finding good Thai… FINALLY we picked a winner. Golden Thai does Thai food right. We started with a bowl of Tom Kha. The flavor was great, but next time we’re going to request it spicy. Our lunch entrees included pad thai and Massaman Curry, both with chicken at medium spice. They nailed it. Pad thai was flavorful and you could tell they used a well seasoned wok to cook the dish. My massaman was exactly how I expect a curry to be. They don’t water down the coconut milk, which is a huge no-no, and apparently all too common around town. They serve the curry nice and thick as it should be. All the veggies were fresh and well cooked. With two soups and two entrees, our bill came out a few cents over $20.00 for lunch. Pretty awesome if you ask me. If you’re looking for good thai, look no further.
