Catfish, Turnip Greens and Macaroni and Cheese. All of the food stayed steaming hot while I ate. Nothing got cold. Everything tasted fresh and very flavorful. The catfish fillets were so large I had a whole one to take for leftovers. The tap water has a weird after taste (don’t get it) if you ask for water with lemons ,they give you lemon juice packet which i didnt like.
Good southern food. The best turkey & dressing other than my grandmothers.
YUMMMM. Went for the first time last week and I was hooked!! My boyfriend got the catfish and I got the bbq baked chicken and BOTH were amazingggg!! Not to menion the hush puppies, baked apples and black eyed peas. The owner as well as the staff were very sweet and welcoming! I forgot to take a pic of my plate because after tasting one bite I could not stop eating!! This is my new fav spot 🙂
Great service, good food. Must haves: 1) pork chops smothered in gravy, oh so tender.2) chicken and dressing, great seasoning, thanksgiving baby!3)pot roast, juicy and tender4) salads, huge always have some to take home.overall best meat and 3 in antioch or nashville period. cannot beat the great customer service and atmosphere. the first real meat and 3 that does not look like a dump. h&t homecooking is the place to be.
Awesome food!!!! I absolutely love this place. The owner and staff make sure every customer is greeted coming in the door and make you feel very welcomed. Food is just amazing, you can tell the food is cooked with lots of love and care. Truly a hidden gem in the Antioch area.
Sunday Dinner. It’s 3PM and I have not prepared anything to cook for dinner. There’s only one place that can deliver quality home cooked food without the BIG ticket. H&T’s always hits the spot, chicken n dressing or the veggie plate is nothing short but room on your plate.
Like being at home. Always reliable for some home cooked meals made with love. Everyone is friendly. The food is always great. Pot roast is amazing, always tender. Veggies cooked to perfection. Like to go for a good dose of comfort.
