Service was horrible. Beyond horrible service at lunch today. Waited 15 minutes for waiter to ask for drink order. When the food arrived, my order was completely wrong. He said (this is the grilled chicken salad), I said – yes but I ordered the Cyprus salad with grilled chicken. Waited again forever while others ate. Came back, dropped off and left. It was missing the bacon and the dressing. Had to hail him down, again, literally took forever. Brought it back and never checked back in with us. Finally got his attention to get more tea (most were finished eating by now). He apologized as said it was brewing. Came back with 3 NASTY, CLOUDY looking teas and said they looked that way cause freshly brewed. Only two of us dared to taste it and it was a nasty instant tea. Couldn’t even choke down more than the sip. VERY DISSAPPOINTED and hope it was just a badddd day!
Still One of Nashville’s Finest!. My family has been eating here for years, well the one on White Bridge but nevertheless same company. We’ve never had anything bad here and the coffee is made with a french press and is also fantastic. Servers are nice and quick even when slammed! It is hard to not be a chain restaurant and stay open, this place is doing something right! 😀
I’ll be back!. I’ve only been there once. My fiance and I went on Valentine’s Day last year and even with how super busy they were the service was incredible! The food, even better! My meal there was definitely one of the best I’ve ever had…
Great burger. Super lazy service.
Thumbs down for super slow service on a Thursday night. It took an hour to get a bowl of soup and a salad!
Food was fantastic as was the wine. Took awhile to be seated but the service was prompt after that.
I love J. Alexander’s but not White Bridge Road. Make the drive to West End or Cool Springs. This location is poorly managed and does not have a good kitchen. The other ones are excellent..
