Old school Mexican. It’s how I remember it when I worked in Reyanosa. This restaurant never disappoints. Dinner can get a little chaotic but an early lunch is always on target. Better parking around back.
Never a bad dinner here. We moved to a new part of town and hadn’t found a good Mexican restaurant in the area until we finally tried this place. It has been our go-to ever since. I’ve been slowly working my way through the menu and have yet to find anything I didn’t like. If I had to pick right now, I think their molcajete is the best, but look for the weekend specials too. The kids love the huge selection and for those picky-eating days, it really helps that they serve a number of egg dishes all day (the huevos con jamon are very kid-friendly, as there are no peppers or anything in them). Salsa has a decent amount of heat and there are bottles on the table for extra spice or flavor. Only downside is that service can be slow, but I can deal with that in a laid-back, reasonably-priced place.
