Horrible service, cold food and poor management. To preface this bad review, I want to say that I have been to this restaurant three times in the past. My previous experiences were positive, but this time was absolutely ridiculous. This time I had a horrible experience with the wait time, service and food quality. They may have been short staffed, as our waitress seemed to be split between too many tables/areas. Our food took forever to get to us, and it was cold when it arrived. Even after we complained, the manager was not apologetic in the least. We had a guest in town from France, and this was her last meal before leaving tomorrow. I will not be returning.

Horrible experience!. Went to lunch today at La Terraza in my neighborhood just after 1o’clock and found it totally unacceptable! The waitress was sullen and inattentive but that was only the beginning. The guacamole was tasteless! My food…Chili rellenos, beef enchilada, and refried beans had clearly been frozen and placed in a microwave to defrost/heat, everything was like soup except for the beef enchilada which was dry as a bone. The refried beans were so soupy I had to try to eat them with a spoon just as I did with the sorry excuse for a chili relleno which tasted of freezer burn! My friend ordered a quesadilla plate and ate only the quesadilla. The manager walked by several times without ever acknowledging us( there was only one other customer in the front of the house) or asking how things were. The waitress never asked either…..the service was terrible and the food was deplorable, I will never go back again and was embarrassed to have taken an out of state friend/visitor there.

Muy Bueno. First, I would like to mention that technically this is not in Antioch, however we have accepted being called that. This is the closest Mexican Restaurant to where I live and love their food and the atmosphere. I have ordered a variety of dishes here, but I think my favorite is one of the Shrimp Dishes. The Camarone’s Fiesta is to die for. In looking at there online Menu I just learned that they have added Grilled Shrimp Poblano. Looks like that’ what I’ll be having for lunch tomorrow.La Terraza is always clean, the staff is friendly, the food is fresh and good, and their prices are inline with similar restaurants.

Food quality is going down. I have been going here for years and it has always been my go to mexican restaurant but lately i’ve started to wonder if i should look somewhere else. the quality of the food is not as good, they have a new chef (supposedly) and it just doesn’t taste as good as it used to. portions are also smaller but the prices have gone up. service is good though and we always tend to get the same few servers.

Worst Service food hit or miss. I’ve ordered the chicken fajhita and they were good, ordered them again on another night, sent them back and the table next to me did too, just said didn’t want nothing else take it off the bill they did very graciously. me and my daughter came in another nite, we both ordered the chicken fahitas both were bad, sent mine back she ordered chicken quesidiallas and do you know they put the chicken from the fahitas in her quesadillas? i could tell cause the quesadillas are always good no matter what. my daughter orders them plain and they had onions and the green peppers from the fahitas, you could just tell by looking at them. we also noticed they wasn’t frying anymore chicken like they do per order. i really don’t want to go back to this place but my daughter loves their salsa and guesadiallas a lot.

So Good. I knew it was going to be a good meal, when the chips and salsa arrived, and it was the best salsa I have ever been served in a restaurant. I had the burrito annd taco plate with refried beans and rice. Some of the best ever, especially the refried beans, and I don’t even like refried beans normally. The food was authentic and delicious.

Top tier Tex Mex in Nashville. La Terraza on Murfreesboro Rd (east of the airport, in the Kroger shopping center) is top notch in all regards: food, service, atmosphere, quality, price.I lived near La Terraza for four years, and after discovering it became a regular. When I now visit Nashville, LT is one of the strongest restaurant blips on the radar to be sure and go to before leaving town.I fell in love with the Burrito Terraza, a gigantic burrito that fills the plate end to end, accompanied with rice and beans. I often went to LT hungry, and as a grown man did not arrive w/ a soft appetite. The Burrito Terraza and complementary chips/salsa always resulted in leaving full.If you like a really sharp spice/kick to your food, be sure and have the Shrimp Diablo (Camarn a la Diabla). This is far and away the tastiest fiery seafood dish I have ever had–either in a Tex Mex or seafood restaurant. It is scrumptious and will satisfy your affection for plenty of heat without being too discomforting. (Again, this is only if you can handle/enjoy well-spiced food.)The service at La Terraza has always been great. Not a single time of many many visits was there a single instance of it taking long to be seated. The staff also are genuinely warm–you can tell they are there to serve you and want your experience to be enjoyable. The tile floors and decoration are inviting–well aligned with the restaurant style and food served. If you ever find yourself in the vicinity of the Nashville airport, venture east on Murfreesboro Rd (major east/west road on south side of the runways) and treat yourself to a great all-around Tex Mex experience: La Terraza.
