HORRIBLE FOOD AND SERVICE. First off I ordered a chicken, white cheese queso and rice and they gave me a cup of rice with a plate full of cheese!! I sent it back asking for more rice and when they brought it back it was a little more rice but ALOT IF CHEESE! The rice was over cooked and the queso chips all o tasted was ketchup. The waitress Ava was slow and we watched her laughing and giggling with staff while we waited on another drink. I just gave away 44.00! ! Not good at all and they get zero stars!
Note about reviews. This restaurant used to be Palmas Verdes. It was pulled into the Las Palmas collective in early 2013. Things have changed since then, so older reviews, good or bad, may no longer be relevant.My own opinion is that while I liked Palmas Verdes, there seems to be an overall improvement since the change.
Did NOT enjoy.. I visited the Hermitage location for a Thursday lunch date with my girlfriend. The begining went well, promptly attended to within a short time of being seated. However that was the only positive. After taking our order we were never checked on again til after we had finished eating. My drink was empty from about 7 minutes in to 4 minutes AFTER we had finished eating.While we were waiting on our check to be delivered we noticed that our waiter was sitting on his cellphone in the middle of the dining floor chatting it up with someone.On food taste, the gucamole was extremely bland, as were the enchiladas. My beef burito was tasteful, however would of been much more enjoyable with cheese sauce in it. The rice was the only redeeming quality about my dish.
AWFUL FOOD & AWFUL MGMT. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AT THIS DUMP!! THEY ARE RUDE AND OVER CHARGE!! YOU CAN GET BETTER FOOD, BETTER SERVICE, AND CHEAPER AT CINCO DE MAYO. I thought I would give this place another shot, but wow was I wrong. They are mean and the food is stale and has NO taste!! Maybe if they spent more time in the kitchen working on the taste of food and being nice to guests, they would have more than ten ppl in the building at once! HORRIBLE, TASTLESS, OVER PRICED FOOD…THEY PEOPLE ARE JUST AS EQUAL TO THE FOOD!!!
Food and atmosphere are great especially if you eat in the center courtyard. We did, however have to wait 15 minutes for someone to greet us.
The food is always great here, and today we had our entrees in under 5 minutes. 2 meals, 1 soda, $17 after tax. Works for me!
Great atmosphere. Like eating in a Mexican courtyard. Great food.
