Its a hidden gem. Mikado has been around for a long time, And sometimes I even forget they are over here. I wont be forgetting anytime soon. The wife and I decided on Mikado for a date night. When we arrived it was not to busy, So we had a seat in the bar while the table was prepared. The place shows its age a little but do not let that influence you at all. Dinner was as good as I remembered it. The filet was cooked perfectly as was the chicken and vegetables. The dinner still comes with the soup and salad with that great salad dressing. The price has not changed much either over the years, Frankly its a bargain for the food you get. I would recommend Mikado to everyone, I will definitely be back soon.
This is my favorite restaurant. I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. Everyone is geat and food is delicious.
Very disappointing and overpriced. The decor is old and stale. There was no yum yum sauce!!!! The combination diner only included chicken, shrimp, and strip steak. Any other hibachi pace you would get chicken, filet mignion, shrimp and scallops for what you pay for this meal. The food wasn’t that good either. I would not recommend this restaurant to my dog. Go to any ither hibachi grill and I guarantee it will be better.
An absolute favorite for hibachi. Second only to Kobe Steak. Generous portions as well which is on the decline in similar restaurants.
I have been going here since I was 11 the owners treat us like family when we all eat there. When ever someone ask for a god Japanese steak house I always recommend Mikados
My family has been going there for years as often as possible! The food is the best Japanese I’ve had and the atmosphere is great! It’s expensive but totally worth it!
