A local recommended this place. Its literally next to the airport. The food is served family style. Lots of food. All was ok but not great. Reasonable price $14.95 for breakfast. Guess I was expecting more from the whole experience.
Monells deserves a 6 star.Southern food at its finest!The fried chicken is delicious!Their biscuits are warm and fluffy and please try their peach preserve!Brunch is great with a great selection of dishes: corn casserole, hash brown casserole, red potatoes, sausage, bacon!
This is Nashville’s version of Claudia Saunders restaurant. The wife of the Ky KFC guy Colonel Saunders . The food and the service are both excellent for the prices. Customer and family friendly
Delicious family style dining. Check out the menu of the day! Everything is tasty. I have been for breakfast and dinner and love it all!
Ate a late breakfast. Crispy, thick cut bacon and corn pudding were my favorites. I was a little nervous for family style, but so glad we took a chance. Eclectic groupings of chairs/dishes in a neat old mansion setting. Wish we lived closer so we could go more often.
Loved this place! I had heard a lot about Monell’s, when my sister visited for Russia we had to take her- she misses ‘home cooking’ so much! This was the perfect place to take her; we stuffed ourselves! My tall, thin six year old ate two pieces of catfish, a chicken breast, and sides! Great price as well. Recommend for sure!
GREAT BREAKFAST. Wonderful, we drove by and I just had to eat there because of the beautiful house. Only a few cars in the lot but we risk it and boy am I glad we did. It was amazing breakfast food and my first experience of country style dining. My husband agreed the food was amazing!
