Best Pizza in Nashville Hands Down. I’m from the Detroit where thick Sicilian pizza is more popular and we’ve been in Nashville about 10 years. I honestly can’t compare this because I have not been to The Big Apple, but when I want pizza in Nashville this is the first place that comes to mind. When we order a pizza to go many times it will be halfway gone before we get home. IT’S THAT GOOD!! Everything on the menu that we have ordered is great. The marinara is the best I’ve ever had from a pizza shop before. The crust is always perfect its soft with a little crunch on the outer layer. They have a new Sriracha Pizza that I’ve never had anywhere else that is amazing. On top of that everyone there is Super Nice and happy to serve you! I just wish they would open another one either downtown or closer to Murfreesboro.
Definitely have to say NY Pie has the best pizza in Nashville!!! The customer service, professionalism, and work ethic of some of the employees is totally unmatched to any other food establishment I’ve ever been to. The young woman whose name I think is Kristen and who I assume is the manager is by far the greatest asset to the restaurant besides of course the pizza. Definitely one in a million and I wish I had 100 employees just like her. Keep up the good work!
The Real Deal. When we moved from Pennsylvania to Jackson, TN 20 years ago, we thought we had left really good NY style pizza behind. Until we discovered NYPie. We’ve had pizza in NYC many times, and NYPie is the real deal. NYC has the best pizza in the country, and now, Nashville does too.
We were stopping through on our way to Texas. BEST calzone EVER! The salad was also the best salad I’ve had eating out in a long time. I got the greek but considering the freshness of everything I’m sure all the salads would be great. The cheese they use is definitely fresh and oh so yummy!!
NY in Nashville!. We were born and raised in NJ. Grew up on authentic NY style pizza. To our delight this Forked River, NJ transplant moved to Nashville and brought pizza with him! The smells, music, FOOD! If you have room after your authentic Italian experience, the cannolis are heaven!
Return customer. I’ve eaten at NY Pie many times and feel they make a very good calzone and pizza. The most recent visit I was not to happen due to the fact that ordering a large half and half pizza, the less costly half dominated 70% of the pizza.
This place has gone down hill dramatically! I used to go in there and see the same friendly young men who would always greet me and make me feel welcome.From what I’ve been told, both young men quit because they don’t like the owner. The females are the same but they are rarely as pleasant as the previous staff. Now all you see when you go in there are a bunch of young kids that lack the overall aura this place once had.Now to the food. Plain and simple it’s declined. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Michael who is there veteran pizza maker. If he isn’t making the pie, I’m not eating it, thank god he is still there or else I’d have no reason to ever go there. Overall though, NY Pie is a dark shadow of the bright star it started out as.
