My wife’s a New York girl up until the age of 7 but she still has vivid memories of New York style pizza. When we started dating and I mentioned going to have pizza she would wax nostalgic on New York style pizza and lament the fact there was nowhere in Nashville to get the pizza that she remembered so fondly. I’ve had New York style pizza in a couple of places here in Nashville, as well as NYC, so I know what it looks, smells and tastes like.When NY Pie opened up in West Nashville we were both excited and after our first visit became fans for life of the REAL NY STYLE PIZZA. The food is incredible, the staff fun and friendly and the prices, while not a cheap as New York where you can almost find pizza on any corner, is reasonable enough for Nashville. Whether it’s a whole pie or just a slice if you’re looking for pizza like you get in the Big Apple you need to head on over to NY Pie and get your slice on!
