Absolutely delicious! We arrived early on a Tuesday and didnt have to wait. Within 20 minutes, there were folks lined up out the door!I had the Santa Fe with cornmeal pancakes that were scrumptious. My friends delighted in an omelet and waffle and ham and eggs with pecan pancakes. Everything was made to order and perfect! Highly recommend!

Food was great. Not the best Ive had but its the best Ive had in this state so far. But it is definitely second favorite place. I had the banana bread pancakes with bananas on top. The eggs I got with cheese and it looks as if they put real cheese on them. Fantastic. Not everyone does that. It was packed so we ended up sitting with a stranger which we had a choice. We didnt mind. We were starving after running the Nashville half marathon. But we didnt wait long and we are definitely going back as I plan to take my parents as well.

Located in the cute village-like Belmont/Hilsboro district in Nashville you can’t go wrong with pancakes that have been served for years at this mom & pop local gem. Apparently sourcing speciality Tennessee flour helps these little beauties. The sweet potato pancakes are light and fluffy and complimented with cinnamon syrup. The corn and jalapeo are chunky and dense but still tasty. Many options to try, something for everyone – not far (close drive) from the ‘I love Nashville’ mural, Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James boutique, and the Parthenon (yes, Nashville you are the Athens of the South 😉 ) worth a visit for a great southern pancake breakfast. Care, queues exist often we’ve been told.

With great expectations, I went to the Pancake Pantry and was prepared to be impressed. The first impression was the parking. It was a grease-fire, at best. It too almost as long to park as it did to eat. Luckily, there was not a wait, as it was a weekday. The service was advertised and very nice and professional. As for the food, the pancakes were light, fluffy and good, but I have had better at many other places. The sausage was not good at all and the eggs/toast were average. The coffee was good and the atmosphere was nice. They had a nice gift area, but as everything else in Nashville, it was overpriced. If I could do it again, I would not.

Glorious pancakes! I have died and gone to pancake heaven. So about the experience…I was torn between the sweet potato pancakes and the Santa Fe pancakes made with cornmeal. Little-known fact and not on the menu, but they will do split orders for the same price. So what would normally have been five sweet potato pancakes, became two glorious cinnamony sweet potato and two hearty cornmeal pancakes w/ bacon in it. And oh so good!! Great atmosphere and service. What else is there to say? 5 stars!

Food was ok. I had the French Toast which was marked as one of their award winning dishes. I can see how this could’ve been award winning, but mine tasted burnt more than anything else. My biggest complaint was the frigid temperature they had the thermostat set to.

My friends and I ate here with visiting Nashville for the weekend and it was absolutely amazing. We waited over an hour in the snow and freezing cold and it was so so so worth it! Our server was so polite and fast. We got our food quickly and everything was hot and delicious! There wasn’t a single complaint throughout our whole table, everything was cooked perfectly! I’m willing to wait in the cold and rain again for a meal like that again.
