Looks can be deceiving….I was a little skeptical when I walked in. Staff was extremely pleasant on a Saturday night at 9:00 even….italian and cheesesteak are out of this world and only 10 bucks.
Great Subs. One of the things that I love about traveling to Chicago or Detroit is the food. I come back home to Nashville and I keep craving a great sub or other food. Every city has its specialty and Nashville is great for southern/soul food. However, if you craving a good hot & grilled sub sandwich you can come close now. Love Chicken Philly sandwich.
Uh-mazing.. I have frequented this store since it first opened, and absolutely LOVE it. Being a fast-food chain store, it suffers from employee turnover like anywhere else. Sometimes you get creeps or jerks waiting on you, but the managers have always been superb and the majority of the time the people working there are friendly. The store is always clean (except maybe RIGHT after a lunch or dinner rush), and I can’t say enough about their food. EVERYONE I have ever introduced to them is BLOWN AWAY. There are a few sandwiches which are only *meh* at best (the pizza sub, the chicken parmesan, the sausage, and cordon bleu have ALWAYS failed to impress anyone I’ve taken who has insisted on ordering them), but the Italian, Club and Artichoke (yes, the Artichoke!) have NEVER failed to knock people’s socks off! I’ve heard the Murfreesboro Penn Station is terrible, and a few years back the chain did close a few other locations, but the BELLEVUE Penn Station has ALWAYS rocked. The ONLY thing is, they don’t serve flash-cooked frozen hamburger patties, so don’t go in there if you’re in too big of a hurry- it can take a few minutes to get you your order ESPECIALLY if you have enough sense to order their amazing fries (that are cut right in front of you and fried in peanut oil, if I remember correctly). Subway disgusts us after eating at Penn Station!
Real good subs!. Not only do they have subs made by folks who care, their french fries and fresh squeezed lemon aid is great!
Yes it’s a franchise. But they have some of the best subs among the sub chains. Too bad they don’t have more locations around town.
